This tiny restaurant is a hidden gem with very limited space. Reserving well ahead of time is a must, but you'll be rewarded for the effort. It's a two person show with a Taiwanese-French chef and a maitre with exceptional knowledge of his wines. The cuisine is a fun blend of French classics and Taiwanese-inspired versions. Each dish is packed with flavor and really showcases the chefs skillful cooking. Leave it to the maitre to suggest an exceptional wine pairing. For people with a larger appetite, two entrées, a main and a dessert would be ideal portion wise. Three courses is perfectly fine for most people I feel.

This is simply the best restaurant of Nyons. This french/asian fusion restaurant is owned and operated by a lovely couple. She cooks with love and he will wait for your orders while recommending an ideal wine pairing for your meal. The place is quiet and charming and the atmosphere relaxing. If you're in the area, you *need* to check this place out.You should book your place ahead of time as the place is small and popular. Also, the menu is in french only but the waiter/owner will translate it for you if needed

Our taste buds are still buzzing about this succulent meal. Finesse and original seasonings make this restaurant rich. For wine and beer lovers, you will find very good advice and a nice menu. The restaurant to stop at, without a doubt!

We have been coming back several times with pleasure because the menu changes regularly. It is a French cuisine restaurant which aims to be inventive and sophisticated in terms of mixing flavors. The result is very satisfactory, especially since the plates are not ridiculously empty as is often the case. The desserts, although attractive, disappointed us a little this time, although we did not keep this memory from previous visits. Everything can't always be perfect. Nothing to complain about in terms of the welcome or the service, the good level that we expect. As for the wine list, we would like to taste everything! In conclusion an excellent address, my advice would be to perhaps avoid the dessert and for the same expense go upmarket in a good wine on the excellent advice of a former sommelier, which is rare.We will come back regularly.

We were here for the first time a year ago. In the evening, and it was wonderful. And so we have designed the itinerary to France this year so that we can stop off again in Nyons, this magical town. The verre a soie are two people. A couple. He used to be a sommelier in a top restaurant and does the service and his Taiwanese wife does the cooking. There are many dishes that can be prepared either French or Asian style. First of all: reservations are almost a must; the few places are quickly filled. The food is on a level that you really wouldn't expect in this price range. Terrific! Both the evening cuisine and the constantly changing lunch menu. When it comes to wine, particular emphasis is placed on regional products and here in the Drôme near the Rhone we are in a wine-growing paradise, with (still) outrageously low prices. The location in a wonderful historical ambience (if the weather permits under the arcades) and the hard-working, friendly and warm couple make every visit an experience. We're already looking forward to next year!
